Hike to Crested Butte
This has become an annual hiking tradition for me and this is the first year that my daughter hiked too! The fall colours are peaking so it was truly stunning.

Avalanche Creek
Today it was another beautiful blue-sky fall day. Wanting serenity, solitude and water nearby I went for a short walk along Avalanche Creek. So beautiful and very calming.

Independence Pass
I was so happy that Independence Pass opened on schedule by Memorial Day! I drove to Denver and back on 6-3-10. A fun, fast trip! There was still a lot of snow at the top – check out the photo!
